Fly-in pack raft trip

Loading the plane to fly in to Chelatna from Talkeetna.

Kahiltna Glacier looking towards Denali.

Headwaters of Lake Creek and our fishing destination.

Camp next to the airstrip. One of Ryan's coworkers flew his plane in and camped with us for a night.

We rented a few pack rafts and floated from the lake down the creek a couple of miles.

We lucked out and found some guys in a jet boat to give us a ride back up to the lake - sure beats paddling upstream. The rafts only weigh about 7 pounds with paddle and were surprisingly stable.

We didn't get any huge rainbows, but several nice fish.

Tackle box for the trip. You never know what you might need.
