Booked an overnight trip with Captain Matt out of Whittier this weekend. We've been lucking out with the weather in Alaska this spring (yes...we actually had a spring this year). Last year we skipped spring and went from winter to summer in late May.
We made the long run out to the edge of the Gulf to get into some great halibut, cod, and rockfish.

New rule for charters this year - one fish has to be under 29". We had trouble finding any that small.
