Winter arrived a little late this year, but it was still a mad dash to get all of the chores done before the snow fell. Moose hunting was a bust this year, but was good to get out camping one last time. With the tags we had, the bulls needed to be 50" wide or larger.
Got the deck redone just in time. Here is a before picture.
Here is a picture near completion (one more step was added at the bottom). We went with a composite style in hopes that it would hold up better in the snow. The plan is to put a cover over the upper part next year.
A redneck snow shovel. Never thought I would own a snow blower, but I must say...it's pretty nice. Joni and I have to fight over who gets to clear the driveway. It gets interesting when you run into a frozen dog turd though.
Takes a little longer to smoke the salmon when it's below zero.
View from Joni's classroom at sunrise.
And sunset (only about 6 hours apart right now).
